Coke, fries and kebabPosted by Pawn (Den Haag, Netherlands) on 3 November 2009 in Food & Cuisine. In the south west of The Hague an increasing number of third and fourth generation Turkish immigrant families take over snackbars. Nearly always they keep the look of the store as it was & continue serving coke and fries - and only add kebab and Turkish pizza's to the menu. And they add their name on the road sign. Photography has done at least as much to deaden conscience as to arouse it.
